Heiltsuk Band Council:

• The Heiltsuk Band Council is elected by members of the Heiltsuk Nation. The council is responsible for many services including logging, fishing, land-use, and housing.

Bella Bella Community School:

• The Bella Bella Community School has apporximately twenty teachers, three administrators and about 250 students. The school is responsible for educating students from nursury to grade twelve.

• Bella Bella is services by two companies: Pacific Coastal Airlines and Eagle Air. Pacific Coastal Airlines provide daily service to Bella Bella on their "Shorts 360" planes. These planes are extremely reliable and can seat up to 36. Eagle Air provides service a few days a week on smaller planes that can set up to eight people, and charge slightly less.
